Torres stars as an aspiring toy designer who will do anything to get his US visa, causing him to cross paths with Tilda Swinton. You may know Julio Torres from his HBO shows “My Favorite Shapes” a comedy special unlike anything I’ve seen or “Los Espookys” in which a group of horror lovers stage supernatural events. In the first episode, a priest hires them to stage an exorcism so that he can be the most popular priest at his church. You might also know him as a writer for SNL from his most popular sketch “Papyrus” starring Ryan Gosling as a man who can’t get over the fact that James Cameron used the infamous papyrus font from Microsoft Word for the “Avatar” logo.
